Bityard has been around since before 2015. Were a group of adults who have become friends through Minecraft and were looking to welcome in some new faces. We love to work on bigger projects together and put together events from time to time, especially around the holidays. Beyond just the Minecraft server, we like to keep up with each other through Discord and play other games together like Animal Crossing, Terarria, and Overwatch.
We play on the latest release 1.16.1 with PaperSpigot for a few essential plugins like CoreProtect, Dynmap, and DiscordSRV. We also use a vanilla-style datapack of our own design featuring things like:
Custom Advancements - Bityards own series of advancements highlighting various elements of the server and community.
Multiplayer Sleeping - Sleeping players will gradually pass the night - the more sleepers, the faster it passes.
End Crystal Mob Warding - Player-placed End Crystals stop mobs from spawning in a large radius.
Speedy Paths - Walking on Path blocks gives a slight speed boost.
Spawn Eggs - Mob Spawn Eggs drop from their respective Mob Spawner blocks.
Random TP - Use a chorus fruit at true spawn to go somewhere random.
Loot Tables - Almost every loot table has been fixed to work with Luck.
Wandering Trader - Has a random selection of almost every block and item in the game.
The Porcelain - A creative world pocket dimension that can be accessed via Spawn or by using a certain item. upcoming for 1.16.2.
We have some basic rules:
Be excellent to each other! No sexism, racism, homophobia or other bigotry.
No griefing or stealing.
No cheating or use of extraneous exploits.
PvP must be consensual.
Pranks are welcome if theyre not griefing.
Gameplay events like Ender Dragon battles, raids, etc must be mentioned.

Join with Minecraft Java edition
- Click on the Java IP here to copy it: 104.219.7.153
- Open Minecraft and click the Multiplayer tab and click Add Server
- Paste the IP into the Add Server option. Click Done
