What's Anomine about?

Anomine is a Minecraft server. Specifically, a ruleless Minecraft
server where everyone is anonymous to each other and could hack in-game
as much as they please. This means that both in the chat and in the game
world itself, you don't really know anyone's real username.

What's the point?

No one really tried this concept before! On the other hand, in the
age of mass media reporting the latest sighting of celebrities, content
creators, developers, administrators, whatever, privacy also became a
really hard thing to preserve. In Minecraft, your favourite content
creator or even yourself have to use an alt account (alternative
account) if you don't want to associate yourself with certain things,
just want to play by yourself or don't want to be recognised in the
public. Anomine's goal is to ensure the maximum possible privacy and
anonymity for each of our players.

Are there any rules?

No. Not even for you or for me, the administrator of the server. An
anticheat is installed so that the most common type of hacks won't slow
down the server.

Who's the server's administrator?

The server administrator is called sageman_.

Can I use a nickname?

Yes! This feature is available to everyone and we think that it's an unalienable right. Check out the Commands for instructions.

Is there a way to identify players by some kind of unique id?

No, currently there's no official way to do that.
