Osria is an amazing community that welcomed me with open arms. The staff work hard to ensure that the server runs and are very down to earth good people.

Pretty neat place to hang out at. Definetly a good place for friends and people to relax at.

This server is very fun to play on and the RPG system is changing and improving over time. The staff are committed to keeping the server moving at a good pace for players to enjoy events and have new content come out with relative frequency.

Pretty good Minecraft server. I haven't been on it long but I think about it in my spare time. Staff might work too hard sometimes tbh. They give themselves alot of work.

After having spent some time getting to know the server I thought to leave an honest review of the server with its systems in place. The Good: -The community is super nice and helpful, if you have a question to ask people are rather quick and helpful in answering your question. -The world seems very lived in, the backstories are all there and it looks nice to the eyes, and while it has fewer people than say other 'rp' servers you can always find people out and about. -The roleplay quality is there in terms of server lore and the systems in place are pretty nice, reminds me a lot of 5e DND which is what they are going for. The Bad: -With the current timeline laid out there will be no player-to-player conflict as the staff had openly said that is not their focus and will be actively avoiding it. If there is player-to-player conflict there will always be Staff Intervention in various forms to drive home the idea that player-to-player conflict should be avoided. -Character Segregation via levels to some degree. The staff claims to be concerned about leveling exploitation and people leveling too quickly, but are always contradicting themselves quite often. Not to mention It will take you an uncomfortable amount of time to get your character leveled up. You get double the EXP till level 5 but are met with a hard EXP cap of 200exp per IRL week with each level only taking 100exp to level up, it will take you at least 13 weeks of being perfectly active to get to level 30 which is the cap. -The economy is staff-driven with little to no room for players as basic ores, weapons, and light armor are set at a cheap price for players to buy off the bat, killing the market for new characters as it prevents you from making any money by selling common ore to anyone. For example, to get rare materials (which is what you should always strive for since you NEED them) to use for crafting or bartering, requires you to be at least level 10 as it's required for a rare gathering event to have combat with a minimum level of 10+ -A small point to make but the time it takes for stuff to get approved that you write for your character is not consistent, It can be within hours or days even with their rule of allowing you to ping a progression reviewer once per 24 hours. -Event railroading. The staff who runs events (which is a small team in itself) try to very much keep to a certain plan regardless of character input which limits the motivation to do any events since it’s a one-sided story most if not all of the time. -’Dark RP’ is not the theme I would call the server given the events. The world strives itself on being a dark place yet you have maid cafes, goofy and whacky event characters that are only there for comic relief which happens way too much for a dark rp theme. Overpowered creatures that will spawn in the middle of the central hub town. -Player characters who have ‘main character syndrome’. Needless to say, this is the main issue I’ve seen with rp servers in general. So in conclusion I would say that Osria is certainly better than most small RP servers but it isn’t without its problems. It’s not a bad server and I would still recommend it if you want a place where you don’t have to worry about PVP, like high school drama tier events, and ‘family’ rp 90% of the time outside events.

The server is honestly really fun. I originally joined it after having a really bad experience in another server and my characters have thrived in some way or another. The stories of everyone's backstory is rich and makes great roleplay. The story team makes interesting little side stories and even contribute to the main story to the server! I used to be on servers where the main story never made it passed chapter 1 but this server might as well be a novel with how dedicated they are with progressing story WHILE STILL letting people have their fun little roleplays. Expect an event about once a week maybe a couple times a week depending on how everyone's schedule is. I might've taken a break from roleplay in the October of 2023 but I came back in a month or two later and was able to catch up on everything fast even with all the updates that had happened. I later joined staff and have continued to enjoy the server while helping others within the server! 10/10 recommend this server to both new and old roleplayers just wanting a chiller, yet still pretty cool, roleplay server.

Hello Seekers,
Are you looking for a place to develop new stories? Ever wondered how to evolve a character's skills? Or are you wanting engaging roleplay which rewards progression? Have a glance at Osria's Realmseeker System!

A system inspired by tabletop RPGS like D&D and Pathfinder with cohesion of roleplay in mind at every step of the way. Realmseeker is designed to allow the player's freedom while still ensuring consistency across all interactions
and narratives.

No matter what archetype you seek to create, Realmseeker allows you to build your ideal character and story through roleplay.

Osira Roleplay is a server dedicated to a ttrpg role play style. You explore the world through events run by dms and begin your adventures in Sunnydale. You can craft, become your own unique mage or learn martial arts. This is all achieved through our roleplay system. Notably you do not get resources or play minecraft the normal way. You however can own and design your own house all the way up to a settlement. Progression in all systems is tied to your level which will increase as you either craft or participate in events. You can even craft your own magic items with unique effects. People have already made flaming swords, flying airships or golems. We have a very helpful community and staff to help you through anything you are confused about as we want every player to be able enjoy the systems regardless of how new they are to ttrpgs. The server and its systems heavily reward active play so if you want something to dig your teeth and enjoy every week come on into Osiria Roleplay.
