Welcome to the Trail & Error SMP! We're a friendly Semi-Vanilla Survival SMP community with a focus on our players and gameplay.

We're a new server with Vanilla at our core, but we acknowledge the issues that plague other SMPs. The biggest of which, players aren't encouraged to play with each other! We're aiming to refine and expand our gameplay experience to address this in ways that feel natural, balanced, and genuinely enjoyable.

We're committed to improving the Vanilla experience without overloading it. No unnecessary feature bloat, no systems that take away from the core game, and no heavy-handed pay-to-win mechanics. Any additions are deliberate and are designed to enhance, not replace, what makes survival enjoyable in the first place. Updates are never rushed out. They're made with a purpose, shaped by player feedback, and aimed at steadily improving the experience over time. As the server grows, we're also looking for players who want to help us with our vision, including open staff positions.

We aim to foster a tight-knit community of players that explore, build, and progress together. Whether you're a new or experienced player, you'll be met with a welcoming environment! We also have players across all time zones, so there's usually someone online.
