am one of the probably few tech-savvy people here, so here's what's going on in a technical perspective:

Artificial Intelligence usually uses tokens to store small chunks of data for making outputs readable, which here, is text. So that means tokens are used for individual words, and even punctuations.

For comparison, ChatGPT 4 (which is now outdated) has around 32000 tokens, Character AI's (source is pretty outdated, so I'm guessing it's for the normal model) has only around 3700 tokens,

This can be pretty limiting, to the point that the AI sometimes forgets how to make sentences, and spits out semi-gibberish (e.g.: repeated words, missing punctuation), or gibberish in general.
